About Lucky Chick
Ever dreamt of touring with your favorite band or, better yet, dating the lead singer? Writer-performer Felicity Seidel takes audiences on a no-holds-barred, hilarious, 60-minute road trip through her crazy, adventure-clad youth as the girlfriend of Bob Weir of Grateful Dead. This autobiographical solo show is sure to leave you entertained, reminiscing about your favorite rock star moments and bad teenage decisions, enjoying one helluva ride!
From growing up navigating the streets of NYC to being plucked from the crowd by Weir at a show to going on tour with the Grateful Dead, Seidel’s wild ride includes Learjets, pythons, Hells Angels, badass ranchers, an unpredictable drug-kingpin boyfriend and more. She is one lucky chick to have survived it all without a scratch!
AbouT Felicity
Felicity has been getting in and out of trouble across this great country for decades. Her signature one-woman show Lucky Chick has been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike with a sold-out off-Broadway run. She developed Lucky Chick in Emmy Award-winning writer Matt Hoverman’s Go-Solo workshops and at Naked Angels Tuesdays@9 where it was chosen for the Naked Angels 1st Mondays reading series. She is a devoted regular at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket where she has acted in productions of Neil Simon’s female version of The Odd Couple and Dinner with Friends by Donald Margulies. Seidel starred in Green House, winner of Best Youth Film at the 2020 Women in Horror Film Festival. She co-wrote, starred in and co-produced Welcome to WillieWorld, a short film which the Los Angeles Times said, “evokes in a beautiful, jagged rush of images the hectic existence of a New York paramedic.” It premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and was a RESFest pick for top-five digital shorts of the year. She studied acting with Harry Mastrogeorge and received her B.A. in physics, magna cum laude, from San Francisco State University.
AbouT Padraic
Padraic Lillis (director), who is in the Indie Theater Hall of Fame, was awarded the New York Innovative Theater “It” Award for outstanding director by Lindsay Joy's Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyber Queen, Overall Excellence Award from the New York International Fringe Festival for his production of Lee Kaplan’s Bully, and Best Director from Planet Connections Theater Festivity for Valerie David's The Pink Hulk. Lillis directed Lucky Chick for the NY International Fringe Festival and the show was included in its Encore Series. Other solo shows he has directed are Douglas Taurel's The American Soldier, Adina Taubman’s award- winning show A Line In The Sand and Kelly Kinsella’s When Thoughts Attack. He co-wrote with Kelly Kinsella How To Do A One Person Show, and wrote and performed his own solo shows: Hope You Get to Eleven or What Are We Going to Do About Sally and How To Survive Crack Addiction. His film, Hand Over Hand, was awarded Best Short at the Milan International Film Festival. He is the Founding Artistic Director of The Farm Theater.

Lucky Chick formed a collaborative partnership with Girls Write Now, a non-profit organization celebrating its 20th year mentoring underserved young women to find their voices through the power of writing and community.
